How to rank high in Google in 3 steps
Ranking high in Google is all about your keywords. In order to receive traffic from search engines, you need to have keywords which aren’t too competitive - but will be searched for. For example, your keywords should be “cool fun yes “. You need to go after phrases which aren’t as popular, but may have been overlooked - and are occasionally searched for. Even if the word you use is a lot more obscure that what you’d want, if you are ranked 1 or 2 for that phrase, that’s than being page 200 for a well known keyword.
So, Step 1:
What is it that your site can offer? Think about this, think about what people would search for, and start writing down key phrases. Be as specific as you can - Detail is good.
Step 2:
Create a a page for each keyword phrase. Many people try to sneak in a lot of keywords into one page. That’s a mistake. It’s better to optimize with one keyword phrase per page. This tactic is a lot better and will get you more traffic. You’ve already made a list of keyword phrases, now it’s just making a page each. Each page should contain information regarding the keyword phrase. In order to optimize your page to the maximum, try having the Keyword in your title, subtitle - and of course, the text.
Step 3:
The most important step. Obtain back links - quality ones of course - to each of your pages. The amount of links that a site has pointing to it is called Link Popularity - Google uses a ranking system to measure the link popularity on each of the pages.
So get some back links from outside sites - and get ready for traffic!
